Sweepydee is an aspiring hip hop artist based in the UK. The 20-year-old, young artist has released his new EP composed of 6 songs featuring funky lyrics and groovy beats. The EP titled ‘1719’ is inspired by one of the important phases of his life from 2017 to 2019 when he was working very hard to create his place in the music industry and having experiences that grow him as a person and an artist. For instance, his song “Baghdad” reflects the time when he first influenced by girls and his other songs like “Cards ft. Freshflows” and “Topboy” reflect the time when he decided to take his life and music more seriously.

Sweepydee made his first public appearance in 2017 at Capital Xtra’s music potential unleashed where he rocked the stage and wooed the crowd with his confidence and performance. He developed an interest in Hip hop and rap music, in his early teens listening to the songs of Tyga, YG and many other Hip-Hop artists. His newest EP features a polished sound and some good quality video production.

Some of the memorable lyrics from his songs are “Body so bomb call it Baghdad uhh” “You wanna stick out your tongue for the snap snap snap, whilst I pull out my fingers screaming brap was bra” from the song Baghdad, “I need mulla every second of the day” “been an entrepreneur with the kit Kat chunkies since like 14” from the song Top Boy and “I thought this girl had no behavior doctor said she’s got bad b disorder uhh” from the song Funday.
